Happy Good Friday all! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend … But first… This. The Mock Collar! Have you got one?  If not, then flippin’ get one, they are a must for everyone’s wardrobe, and once purchased will be good for decades … DECADES I tell thee! Voila I got it last week from Cos in Brighton at £29 – they do a few different styles – The one I have here, a blue and white striped one, and one with scalloped edges. Its not a real shirt obviously. Instead its much like a baby bib giving the illusion of one.…

Hello, hello! And a very happy Friday to you all Yep, Its capsule wardrobe thinking time again … You know me, I dig a capsule collection or ten. I know I had promised to share my sweaty gym favourites this week, but then this little lot came into my life and I got too excited. All you need for such a pinky ensemble is three items. Just three. So, what do we have here? Well, first up on my blush hit list was this little beauty from Topshop This is the nicest Mac/Trench coat thingymejiggy I ever did don … Apparently its…

Happy Friday everyone. Sorry that this Friday Stylefinder post has been away a little while … Its been a little hectic round here! But, I’m back, and very happy about it I am too. So, firstly – Check out the view over my mirror right now as I type … BLUE SKIES!! Its a beautiful, spring like day, and I’m in the mood for light and airy neutrals. Say hello to these gorgeously expensive-looking-but-actually-quite-cheap nude coloured slacks! I luurrrrve them so. Pockets? check. Roomy concertinaed pleated waistband? check. Paired with a trusty white blouse and neutral heels, I feel sharp,…

Happy Friday everybody! This week, a good friend of mine asked me to help her track down the perfect top for an occasion she has coming up this Christmas. It needed to be blue (navy or royal) , and ideally a halter neck in style (as she likes to show off her cracking shoulders!) Now you know what its like ladies, with zero spare time and very specific requirements, finding the ideal top in a sea of high street shops could end up taking some time and still result in finding nothing or having to compromise or change outfit plans altogether. Fortunately, I am basically…

Happy Friday Girls! So, have you heard of Pepperberry? They are a sister company of Bravisimo and specialise in clothing for bigger busted women. Lets face it, if you are blessed up top, then trying to find clothing to fit can be a real pain in the shapely plump arse sometimes. With gaping buttons and over taught fabric threatening to blow at any time, this can often result in needing to go up one, sometimes two or three dress sizes. Talk about #firstworldproblems. I don’t want to go UP sizes … who does? We don’t need all that extra fabric everywhere else, Yet…

Now then, this week I had promised a perfect Christmas day dress … But then these trousers came into my life, and frankly, Beautiful Christmas dress can wait until next Friday! These amazing trousers from French Connection are simple to pull-on and go. They are like super comfy thick leggings, but with the addition of a cheeky quarter-leg of genuine leather. Kind of like, three-quarter sensible/one-quarter badass. And personally, as a 35 year old mum of four, these are pretty much my ideal life ratios! as soon as I saw them, I knew they were the trousers for me.…

This weeks Friday Stylefinder post is all about dressing comfortably for the weekend with the help of Mint Velvet and Mother of Pearl. Teamed with a classic pair of Oasis Skinny Jeans to tie it all together. I think that Mint Velvet reign supreme where chic, classic and casual bits and bobs are concerned. Plus I just love the service. They make you feel special and well looked after … I do appreciate a well wrapped package, too. Its like Christmas. I picked up two gorgeously, soft and funky jumpers. They are cut beautifully and hang on the body just perfectly. And the softness?…

You know when you need to pull together a quick and easy smart outfit for an evening out? but then you realise that once you settled the children, tidied up for the babysitter etc. you are only left with about 90 seconds to grab something, chuck it on and go? Well fear not my friend, just grab your favourite and comfortable black pieces, or jeans and throw them together with a pop of bright colour – I think that a red shoe is ALWAYS beautiful, and always sophisticated. Owning a good pair of red shoes, together with a matching handbag can upscale even the drabbest of…

As we all know Anna is a style guru, and with me being a small part of this elegant and stylish site I feel duty bound to try and find my inner fashionista. I’ve starting by looking for new items for my summer wardrobe. Sadly I’m less fashion guru and more fashion gnu, so I’m finding it rather hard. Mainly because I hate shopping for clothes. Which is a massive setback when shopping for clothes. Shoes, yes. I can shop for shoes. And bags, I can shop for bags. I wanted a new man bag, a smaller one than my…
