Now then, this week I had promised a perfect Christmas day dress … But then these trousers came into my life, and frankly, Beautiful Christmas dress can wait until next Friday!
These amazing trousers from French Connection are simple to pull-on and go. They are like super comfy thick leggings, but with the addition of a cheeky quarter-leg of genuine leather.
Kind of like, three-quarter sensible/one-quarter badass. And personally, as a 35 year old mum of four, these are pretty much my ideal life ratios! as soon as I saw them, I knew they were the trousers for me.
I like that I can dress them up …
And dress them down.
I think if you wear them with black leather flats, they will look like an over-the-knee boot, which I LOVE! (sadly I am too short for over-the-knee boots and am yet to find a pair that don’t swamp me and end up looking like waders and feeling like knights armour to walk in) … These trousers will be a great way to get that over-the-knee illusion.
I can also see these looking fabulous with a pair of flat pumps or converse with a casual grey jumper.
All-in-all, I think they are super versatile and slick as hell!

I have so much love for these trousers Anna! I just looked on the website and these look way better on you than they do on the model, I don’t think I quite have the legs for them but maybe once I’ve watched your Tracey Anderson Method vlog I will be inspired to try it and then I can have the trousers when I look like you (in my dreams!)
