Happy Friday girls!
Okay, its officially party season, so for this weeks Stylefinder post, I have found my favourite bits for December.
Like everyone, I’ve got lots of nights out on the horizon – You know, not just out, but out out! and like most parents , I always have to rush myself ready super-quick around feeding the five-thousand, putting them to bed and reading more Mr Men than you could shake a stick at. So, it always pays for me to have some outfit combinations ready for quick action!
This year, I’m not really feeling all the sparkly reds, golds and greens and have instead decided to keep things nice and simple -I’m talking black. It will all match, it will always be sharp and will stay appropriate long after Christmas day.
What I have to play with:
1 Little Black Dress
1 Black Coat
1 Black Blouse
1 Pair Black Skinny Jeans
1 pair of Black Ankle Boots
1 Poofy big skirt with a splash of colour!
So first up, Here is my current favourite Little Black Dress … AND … its a total bargain.
Dress – only £20! from Miss Selfridge.
Worn with ankle boots instead of shoes, gives it a slightly funkier look … But a nice pair of black courts or strappy heels would look super beautiful too.
Boots – £39.99 from Zara
I LOVE this coat from Zara …
With its slight masculine cut, detachable fur collar, slightly cropped cuffs (to show off a nice watch or bracelet) a gorgeous weight and softness of the fabric, all combines to make this feel like it could be a mega expensive, designer coat. I love it so much … and Its just so flippin’ now darling!
Its nice with skinny black jeans too …
Coat – £99 Zara
Skinny Jeans – River Island £40.00
Poofy big skirt anyone?
I always feel super girly in skirts like this, and though I haven’t shown it here, wearing it with a tucked-in black roll neck jumper and tights would give a really lovely smart day look too …
(This particular Coast skirt is last season, but please see below for other current options)

I love your coat and how you layered it with other black items, black never looked so exciting. This season is all about glitz and glamour and of course sequins so I can’t wait to wear them.
