Blue Cheese, Fig, Parma Ham Tear ‘n’ Share Bread
This super easy to make, yet mind-blowingly good tear ‘n’ share bread makes a perfect addition to any party buffet, and it’s also just the ticket for a cosy Friday night-in with a good bottle of red wine, some pizza, and your favourite box-set.
Now whilst I’ve gone for my favourite fillings of blue cheese, fig and Parma ham, you could use whatever you like. Just ensure to pick one ‘melting’ ingredient.
To begin with, just slice up a tiger loaf in criss-cross cuts (cutting only halfway down).
Next, stuff your loaf to the brim with blue cheese, figs, rocket and Parma ham (butter optional).
Then cover the bread in foil and bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, remove the foil then bake for a further 15 minutes until your cheese is toasted and gooey and your Parma ham is all crispy and bacon-y!
Serve with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip, plenty of serviettes and a good glass of wine, then just stand back to watch and marvel at the satisfying scene of (excitable) tearing and (fairly reluctant) sharing 🙂
I used the following quantities:
1 PACKET OF PARMA HAM (6 SLICES)
1 PACK OF ROQUEFORT BLUE CHEESE
A HANDFUL OF ROCKET
50 GRAMS BUTTER (DICED)
